Here's a wonderful new product that makes transfers in and out of a car easy and safe!

The Handybar® inserts into the U-shaped striker plate found on most vehicle door frames. The U-shaped striker plate is one of the strongest parts of the vehicle and is designed to keep your vehicle door closed in the event of a side-impact collision. There is a striker on each of the vehicle's door pillars allowing the Handybar® to be used on both driver and passenger side-doors. (the Handybar will not work on cars that do not have the U-Shaped striker - See "Striker Plate Check Fit Guide" link below)

The Handybar® is suitable for individuals weighing up to 350 lbs. It also features an Emergency Seat Belt Cutter and Glass Breaker.

Locate the U-shaped striker plate on the door frame of your vehicle. (the Handybar will not work on cars that do not have the U-Shaped striker)

Insert the Handybar® into the U-shaped striker plate located on the driver and passenger-side door frames of the vehicle.

Simply lift up and remove the Handybar® before you close the vehicle door.
